A current project, designing a bird booklet/leaflet for one of the organisations I was in contact with for my MA. Using illustration indicative of the woodland type to contrast with the photography of the birds.

MA Show Brand
Finals for the show 'brand'. Using some of the ideas from my adaptive branding project, the design represents the various areas of practice that go together to form the MA course. Each specialism is represented by a colour, with individual identities representative of each. The mixture of colours is supposed to connote an idea that each specialism is a combination of elements of all areas of practice...
The branded elements were used at various touchpoints throughout the exhibition. Individual triangles were grouped and wall mounted and used as a wayfinding device to draw people from the beginning of the exhibition to the main room.

Adaptive brand as platform...
Following on from my initial investigative projects, I'm looking at using some of the principles developed to inform my final project. This is a concept for a website for an event - in this case 'Artsfest'. I'm looking to develop a visual identity for the festival, using information supplied by the user to define some of the visual elements of the brand.

Warley Woods - adaptive brand
A concept for the website - beyond the brand elements using web service data, the website itself would use this information to pull in appropriate content. A 'Summer' and 'Autumn' example are shown here, but in practice, would intend the website to be much more dynamic with a range of content appropriate for any season and weather variation.

Adaptive brand
For a second micro-project, I chose to look at a re-brand for a local woodland community trust, creating an identity that reflected the changing use of the woodlands throughout the seasons. This would continue my initial investigations into adaptive techniques from the 'MA brand' and would allow me to look at external data and how this could be used to define visual elements.
The logo shown here would change in relation to web service weather data. Whilst only shown in four states (one for each season), the logo would include a full cycle of 'growth' and would change dynamically in relation to the data source.
